Tawteen is an Arab initiative for independent technology built inside the region, in Arabic and on the region's own terms. I built its website: the manifesto pages, the initiative's programmes, and the forms and content model behind them. The domain tawteen.tech now redirects to qriib.com, so the Tawteen site itself no longer exists.
Highlights
- The whole site is right to left and written in Arabic first, which is the point the initiative is making.
- Strapi holds the initiative's articles and programme pages so the editorial team publishes without a developer.
- A WordPress blog runs alongside the Next.js site for the initiative's longer written material.
- tawteen.tech now redirects to qriib.com, so there is no Tawteen site left to link to.
