I verified the complex's landline as an official WhatsApp Business number and built a patient support platform on top of Chatwoot. Every incoming conversation now arrives in one shared inbox where staff answer together, reuse saved replies and route cases to the right team. Messaging from personal phones was replaced by a workflow the complex can audit.
Highlights
- I took the complex's existing landline through WhatsApp Business verification, so patients write to the number already printed on the clinic's signage.
- I self-hosted Chatwoot in Docker and connected it to the WhatsApp Business API through webhooks.
- Saved replies and inbox routing give every agent the same wording for hours, services and booking questions.
- Conversations are assigned, tagged and kept in one history, so nothing depends on a staff member's personal phone any more.
